Z. Sam Ruttonsha, President B.Sc (Hons. Chem), M.B.A. Mr. Z. Sam Ruttonsha is a seasoned executive, accomplished in the areas of investment banking, financial management and business operations. He has considerable experience with capital markets and transactions, garnered through positions as Vice President in Royal Bank's venture capital/private equity group, as a corporate development practitioner at Domtar Chemicals Group and GE Canada, and as President of his own investment banking and management firm. In addition, he has served on the boards of about fifteen public and private companies. Recent assignments have included the financing of a capital pool company, CEO/financing/sale of Synapse Technologies Inc, CFO/sale of Cadherin Biomedical Inc, and sale of software provider Advanced Utility Systems Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Ruttonsha established and was general manager of a start-up business in the plastics industry, and has also held management positions in marketing, manufacturing, and product development in the UK and Canada.
